Would you like to work with us in restoring our property after the fires of December 2019? Our place is in the Blue Mountains of NSW, in the township of Blackheath, which has the best bush walks and rock climbing in the Blue Mountains. We are looking for people who can continue to help us in restoring our burnt bushland property. This would include planting of young gum trees, putting up habitat nesting boxes and monitoring them for wildlife activity, weeding, helping to put in erosion control and clearing of dead burnt vegetation. We would work together on these projects. We are also needing help with our Permaculture garden over the summer – harvesting potatoes, tomatoes, cherries and other crops. We will of course provide you with your own separate accommodation with kitchen and bathroom, but we always share the evening meals together which I (Eva) prepare. Check out our profile. We are looking for people to start with us mid December. We prefer you to stay for at least 4 weeks, but we are flexible about that. Looking forward to hearing from you. Eva and Bill
