We have a three month old baby boy, Buddy, and so our permaculture garden is singing out for an extra couple of people to lend a hand, preferably for a week or two in mid-late April. We’ll be doing things like planting out the garlic, mulching the paths, collecting hazelnuts, pruning herbs, making compost and potting up plants. If you’re handy, you may even be able to help move some trellis.
Separate accommodation is fully self-contained with a double bed, bathroom, kitchen and lounge with TV. There is a large library of permaculture and earthen building books to keep you entertained. Whilst we enjoy sharing some time together, we would prefer a couple, or someone who is happy to entertain themselves after work, as we have other jobs too and work much longer days than the wwoofers, and we do enjoy some private family time in the evenings – plus we are up during the night to feed Buddy, so we are quite tired!
We have hosted dozens of wwoofers over the years, some have stayed six months, some have returned, and we have made some life-long friends. The Little Seed would not be the paradise that it is without you guys!
