(2716 NI137) Billabong Vineyards near Jerilderie is a unique family business relying solely on organic principles. Not only in the garden but in all areas of life. My 3 weeks flew by fast as I grew stronger both physically and mentally.
There is lot to see on the property – rivers, lakes, bushland. Upon arrival I was greeted by 2 friendly dogs, accompanied by chooks, ducks and 4 cats. Garden is flourished with beautiful roses and there is just so much beauty to go all around. Whoever yearns for a secluded idyl will find it here.
During my stay I spent most of the time pruning, lots of long rows to keep the job going for awhile. Frank always made sure I have the proper tools, taught me how to drive a four wheeler and the magic of the plants we were taking care of.
As a host, Frank is all in. He is very committed on providing the best care from the food on the plate to the mind level, teaching various lessons about life and the way things run around the world. His knowledge is truly admirable and he isn’t shy on sharing the wisdom. A toast to life with his beautiful wines!
