We were delighted to have Spencer Spencer Platten WWOOF with us at Beechworth Natural Farm. He has an easygoing nature and is willing to tackle any project big or small. He is able to work alone and showed initiative to continue with the independent projects when we were tied up with other jobs. We were sad to see him go but our loss as another WWOOF host’s gain. Spencer also has a special place in the memory of our 4 year old daughter, who thoroughly enjoyed weeding and working with him (in fact, he turned her into an enthusiastic worker!). We must also take a leaf out of his book – he was much more patient and gentle with our energetic helper than we are.
