The projects are many and varied including planting of vegetable crops, maintenance, building, painting and many more! We always endeavor to find a you a job that you will enjoy!
The accommodation that we offer is a fully self contained spa side unit comprising a Queen Sized Futon with fridge, TV, DVD, Heating, DVD Library, etc. . We have a mountain bike to help WWOOFERs explore the area, fishing gear, golf equipment, bush walks around the area and much, much more!
WWOOFER's have access to Satelite Internet.Cable Television, Land line Telephone and a great variety of healthy meals.
SMOKERS ARE WELCOME!
Mangana Mission is a haven for local Australian wildlife including Wallabies,Wombats, Kangaroos, Possum, and a huge variety of birds.
The back of the property is the site of Tasmania's first Gold Rush in the 1850's with innumerable gold diggings and historic artifacts.

Mangana Mission is a small organic farm based on P/c principles in the beautiful, historic village of Mangana, 90 mins from Hobart, 1 hour from Launceston & 10 kms from Fingal. I have only recently purchased the property and am in the process of developing it into an organic strawberry & vegetable farm. Wwoofers would help with general gardening, building, maintenance, painting, etc. Accom for 1-2 people indoors, sharing a Miners Cottage with me or caravan/camping available. Children OK. Mature age Wwoofers OK. Mixed diet, both meat & vegetables.
