Want to end your working day relaxing on the veranda of your stylish self-contained double/twin share cottage overlooking the stunning views of surrounding countryside? Maybe you have just had a swim in a dam and are watching the kangaroos graze just meters away? Eastern Hill is 300 acres of native grasslands and forest with 1k of creek frontage, teeming with wildlife and native plants. We are in the central highlands of Victoria just 15 minutes from the popular spa town of Daylesford and close to many other WWOOF hosts. We have a small certified organic olive grove, vegetable garden, orchard, and large home gardens, all in need of development and maintenance, numerous animals, large and small, requiring love, care and attention, and conservation work is always on the go in the grasslands and creek line. As well as being willing to pitch in and help us with the workload, we need our WWOOF guests to be child friendly, share our love of animals, vegetarian/vegan (no meat is permitted on the property), domestically self-reliant, environmentally sensitive, and to have a responsible attitude towards living in and caring for your accommodation and working environment. We are happy to consider longer stays after initial trial period. No smoking/drugs.
