I would like to find a host in the Cairns areas at the end of this month or early April for a short stay, say a week.

I am a new wwoofer. Though I don't have much experience working in a farm but I will try my best to learn fast. I hope that my holidays here in Australia is not just sightseeing but also get in touch with the people here, to know more about their living and experience all the new things as a farmer. I am a great nature lover. I am looking forward to work in a farm and close to the nature and wildlife.

I am a non smoker and love both meat and vegetarian diet.

Our 300 acre farm is certified organic, mostly forest with 1 mile creek frontage, organic mango orchard, rare fruit orchard & vegie garden. Alternative power, breadmaking, soap making, etc. Swimming & bushwalking in the area with lots of native wildlife. Work is general farm and orchard work, helping in vegie garden, etc. Accom in caravan, tent or BYO. Couples preferred. Children b.a. Mixed diet with us. Initial stay 7 days. PP

Thanks for your invitation. I do really want to come. The only problem is that Maryfarm seems a bit far away from Cairns where I will stay. I don't know if there is any bus I can take from Cairns and how long does it takes to get to Maryfarm? Or if you can pick me up anywhere that is convenient to you ? Besides, is it possible for me to stay for less than a week, say 5days, in Maryfarm because my holidays is not long enough for me to stay longer?
