Animal loving wwooffers needed end Feb/March - I have several aged horses and some calves that need daily feeding
- we are in the middle of the wet season but its a kind season this year - exciting thunderstorms in the evening and cloudy
and cool sea breezes during the day so not so hot and sticky as you would expect in the tropics. My lovely wwooffers I have
with me now are due to leave soon and I need a guy or girl that loves feeding things to take her/their
place as I have to make a quick trip to NZ to see my aged ones soon. I am an eligible host to sign for a 2nd working holiday

I prefer email 65 acres of my own & over 100 agisted acres on several different properties, close to pristine beaches, crocodile infested rivers & lots of rainforest & bush nearby the quaint, historic seaside town of Cooktown in Far North QLD. I am a mature horse fanatic running a riding school and a trail riding business just out of town with 12 horses that need constant daily care. I also have a farm ‘Kaiteri’, 30 kms north of Cooktown that needs self reliant Wwoofers living on the property, looking after cattle, poultry, pigs, goats, a few donkeys & spelled horses while being supervised by 2 Maremma dogs. Accom at Kaiteri is unique, rustic but comfortable. Wwoofers must be able to light a Braemar wood fired stove, enjoy their own company and work proactively on their own. Hidden Valley Wwoofers need to be confident around horses or be willing to learn and be able to work on their own when I’m not there. Hidden Valley work is horse care, and general security for the horses & property, etc. No TV . Camp fires. Alternatively, there also a large home where the work is looking after the horses, & Hh duties. Flexible meals but no vegans. BYO alcohol. A vehicle is provided but a drivers licence is a must.
