I share a large, rambling, historical old house (120 years old) with a teenager and two cats, at the foot of Mount Wellington in the beautiful city of Hobart, just ten minutes walk to the beach/shops and 15 minutes walk to the cbd. With a bus-stop at my door, and nearby Salamanca Market, walking tracks on Mt Wellington, and easy access to Tasmania's south close by, city life combines with rural proximity to give me the best of both worlds!
Wwoofers are welcome to help with light household tasks, renovations, painting, flower gardening, cooking, and helping me to establish and maintain my organic vegetable and fruit gardens.
Accommodation is a comfortable spacious room in the main house, with shared facilities. Meals include self-prepared breakfast and lunch with a shared evening meal.
