2460c NN165 George & Sol, Lilydale via Copmanhurst, Balin-Garu (Riverstone) is a 500 acre cattle property with a 2 km frontage to the beautiful Clarence River, about 40 mins from Grafton. The river is deep & clean, perfect for swimming, canoeing, fishing & bird watching. Other beautiful walks around the property reveal an abundance of kangaroos & wallabies. We are focused on regenerating 20 acres of bushland around our new house and creating an organic vegetable garden, orchard & native bird habitat. We hope you will enjoy working with us in planting, weeding, mulching, paddock maintenance & household tasks. Very comfortable shed-style accom for 1-2 with its own amenities block in view of the river, 5 mins away from main house. No children. Mixed diet. We are an easy-going, open-minded male gay couple with a strong commitment to building community and have many friends come to stay. Prefer gay male Wwoofers (singles or couples) of like mind, an interest in sustainability & ideally some English. We can P/U from Grafton train or bus with prior notice.
