Hi everybody I hope you had a good Christmas. I would love to have two wwoofers in early January for two weeks to install two large gates at the beginning of my Kuranda property, other work would be brush cutting and clearing mown grass, chopped timber, and spreading gravel. Thank you wink.gif

My contact details are on page 289 of the Jan 2010, page 267 of the July 2009 WWOOF books. My entry reads as follows:

4881k QU289 Karen, Kuranda, Tucked away behind the main school of Kuranda is my property of 10 acres, adjoining the Barron River, with fabulous weather & temperatures, and surrounded by rainforest. About 3 acres are cleared and I have counted 30 different fruit trees, mainly all tropical. The birdlife is wonderful with many different grassland, rainforest & river varieties. There are also quolls, echidnas, dingos, possums, gliders, snakes & native rats, 4 different types of wallabies & 8 types of frogs. The river contains platypus, turtles & freshwater crocs. I rent out one house on the property and myself and my 2 dogs live in the other dwelling. Work includes trimming fruit trees, gardening, cleaning roof gutters, fencing, whippersnipping, weed removal, home & property maintenance. Accom for 1 person in a separate dwelling. No children. Meat-based diet. NSI. Min stay 2 weeks, then neg.
