Hi!

We just thought we'd share our amazing experience with hosts QT157, pg. 247 (July 2009 book).

We were quite disheartened after our first wwoofing experience and were reluctant to apply for any more, as it didnt quite live up to the expectations we had.

We were re-contacted by Alan and Lydia, our second hosts, after sending an initial email a few weeks beforehand. Re-reading the passage in the book we became quite optomistic as it sounded amazing, and we can honestly say that it is!

Both Alan and Lydia have a wealth of knowledge they will share with anyone who is interested and also are keen to help others develop the skills they have. While here in our two week stay, both of us have learned how to weld of all things, as well as many other 'first time trys' for us.

The work is varied and as it says in the book, is transforming the garden into an oasis. It can involve many types of jobs and we have had a real variety in the two weeks we have been here.

Alan and Lydia have been nothing but welcoming, friendly and go out of their way to ensure that you are happy and enjoying yourself. If we didn't have other plans, then we would definately be staying for the forseeable future!
