we are in the process of establishing a permaculture/ chemical free farm located in the historic hamlet of Mangana in North East Tasmania.
The jobs are many and varied including clearing gorse and thistles, planting, weeding, painting, renovating the 120 year old Colonial Barn and much much more. The list of jobs is now down to 570!
Accommodation is in the Spa Side suite behind the main house with TV, DVD's, heating and cooling, double bed futon and wireless internet access. The wheelhouse accommodation unit located in the 120 year old Colonial Barn is now close to completion with beds for 4 guests, solar lighting,and other enviromentally friendly enhancements.
The food is good and wholesome and we try to cater for all tastes. If you like to cook we are always thankful!

Mangana Mission is a small organic farm based on P/c principles in the beautiful, historic village of Mangana, 90 mins from Hobart, 1 hour from Launceston & 10 kms from Fingal. I have only recently purchased the property and am in the process of developing it into an organic strawberry & vegetable farm. Wwoofers would help with general gardening, building, maintenance, painting, etc. Accom for 1-2 people indoors, sharing a Miners Cottage with me or caravan/camping available. Children OK. Mature age Wwoofers OK. Mixed diet, both meat & vegetables.
