We are a very friendly farming family of four with two young boys aged 6 and 8. We are situated near Stanthorpe which is a 2-1/2 hour drive from Brisbane. We need help with general farm duties, housework and looking after the boys. The right person would also be required to go to Brisbane every weekend and help sell the vegetables at the Farmers Markets, this would mean a early start one morning a week. At the moment our ideal wwoofer would be a single girl with good english, non smoker, a great sense of humour, the ability to fit into our family life and someone who wants to sit down at the end of the day and have a laugh and perhaps share a glass of wine. Most of our wwoofers have stayed atleast 3 months to extend their visas and we prefer stays longer than one month if we all get along. Due to house renovations starting soon the accomdation would be in a caravan very close to the house. The caravan has a large tv, fridge, and all the things to make coffee/tea and breakfast etc. Lunch and Dinner would be shared with the family in the house. Our diet is varied and pretty good (one wwoofer gained 10kg during her 3 month stay) We offer your accommodation and three meals a day in exchange for 4 to 5 hours work a day.
