Hello fellow wwoofers!
My name is Rachel, I am 32yrs old and I am a new member.
I have been living in Renmark for the past 7years with no time for travel....
Recently those circumstances have changed and my old 1969 pop top Kombi has awaken from his slumber in the shed and told me he wants to travel!
The time is now, and I am ready to hit the road on a huge journey around Australia.

I have just completed Cert III in Commercial Cookery at Tafe and have been working in an Italian Cafe over the Xmas/School holoday period.
Work has slowed to a zip and I am ready to move on so I decided to move to Perth to look for job opportunities and bring me closer to the buddhist community that I have grown fond of online!
There are not many people interested in Buddhism in Renmark...(except a few gems)

So then as I had decided to pack and move, my friend who is a musician contacted me and told me she had got accepted to play at the Canberra National Folk Festival.
It's on Easter weekend and she invited me to come and watch her play as it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
She is an amazing artist and I said I would love to come and support her so I decided I have no time commitments to be in Perth so I am going to travel around Australia wwoofing and camping in National Parks and catching up with friends along the way. (I lived in Cairns 10yrs ago and travelled the East coast so I have alot to catch up on)

Itinerary as follows....
I plan on leaving Renmark on the 20th Feb to go to Adelaide and see my friends.
Leave around the 23rd, head along the Great Ocean Road till I hit Sale and turn inland going towards canberra...( but im flexxible..if I got time and someone wanted to go coast i don't care..as long as there is water and greenery is my motto.)

I volunteered to help at festival and it turns out they have given me the position of Co-Ordinator for 'Set-Up' Volunteers Kitchen. Its a decent sized job so I will need to do some paperwork and have access to phone networks at some stage but as long as that happens Im leaving the rest up to the Wwoofing hosts who will reply out of interest as to when i stop and for how long inbetween Adelaide and Canberra.......

So my fellow wwoofing friends this is where you become part of the adventure...

If anyone needs a lift or wants to share a wwoofing host visit with me or wants to visit a National Park and camp smile.gif for between Adelaide and Canberra let me know on here and Ill further my details along.

At this stage I have a friend flying from Perth to Canberra who is going to join me on my tour after Easter but thats another adventure...For now Im looking for anyone interested over the next 5 weeks to let me know , I'll add to the post when I start moving... (YAY Im countin the day's!!) and you can see how close you might be in relevance to me.

I would ask for share of the petrol costs and food Im willing to share, will be pretty self sufficient in the Kombi. Think of me as the host on wheels in between hosts tongue.gif

My only ask is for Non- smokers...sorry smokers, unless it was just a lift and not camping, then I would stop for smoke breaks for you, but I wouldnt want to camp with you no offense, horrible reformed smoker that i am ;P
Happy Wwoofing...

Hi 109/5707, I looked at your profile and nothing is filled in. Are you m/f? It would be nice if you introduced yourself first instead of just asking for my number unsure.gif
Im new to wwoofing but I am street smart. To be honest, your reply sent off alarm bells in my head and your lack of profile breeds suspicion. A friendly suggestion, perhaps you could fill it out and that way in future people might know more about you and whether your interest click ...etc.. handy when the possiblity of temp living conditions arise smile.gif
