Hi,
I am looking for a PP host in the NSW, QLD Or WA for January 2009. Let me tell you a little about myself. I come from Wales in the UK but I was born in Central America. I came to OZ on working holiday visa and now I would like to stay longer to enjoy this beautiful country. I am honest, hard-working, very friendly and easy to get along with. I am willing to try new things and very eager to learn new skills. I especially love animals and nature. I have no problems milking cows, doing some gardening and learning more about organic farming. I can ride horses although I am a little rusty, would love to get back on a horse again! I am no chef but I do love to cook, so I can help in that area too!!I speak Spanish, French and a little Italian. I also love children and have lots of experience working with them as a teacher and childcare worker. I love meeting new people and new cultures. I love the idea of wwoofing as it's a great exchange of work and pleasure. So, don't be shy, if you can help me please contact me and I am sure we could have a brilliant exchange experience together!

My email: maggie69@hotmail.com

I hope to hear from you soon,

Merry Xmas and A Happy Wwoofing New Year! biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif To January Woofer - I am a female new host living on a small farm 3 hours south of Sydney Nsw - near Goulburn ...... located close to an historic village that is very English in style. I run a horse and sheep stud and have many pets and live in a beautiful natural scenic valley. I want a person to assist me with general chores and am extremely open to all cultures - And maybe able to take someone for up to three months on sponsorship if the person is suitable. I live in an old Australian settlers shack which continually needs renovating for work and for pleasure I have some sulky horses that we drive around the surronding 10,000 acres of country properties. It absolutely great !! But maybe not what you are looking for ??
Best of luck anyway ...... smile.gif laugh.gif rolleyes.gif

I am a new WWOOF Host, my contact details will be in the July 2009 WWOOF book. If you have an earlier edition, please call the WWOOF office on 5155-0218 during office hours or e-mail wwoof@wwoof.com.au, quoting your WWOOF membership number and my host number and they will give you my contact details.

My entry in the WWOOF book reads as follows:-

2583 NA104 Jodie Bain, Crookwell, 2583.
I run a multi-purpose, harness horse stud on 50 acres in the Goulburn region. I only have brood mares & foals, no stallions as well as some sheep and other pets. I also have bee hives which I breed to replenish the depleted bee population. There are some vegetable & flower gardens. I have some casual staff who come and do fencing & building, all very polite & trusted people. There are many things for Wwoofers to do here which they may not even call work. Work includes feeding & care of horses, vegetable gardening, tree planting/maintenance, fruit tree pruning, composting, perhaps handiwork on historic old settlers’ cottage, circa 1800’s. Prefer female visitors. Accom for 1-2 people in my home (own room) or caravan. My home is old but clean & comfy with plenty of charisma. No children. Mixed diet. I am liberal with food diets and can show you lots of bush tucker & BBQ’s. NSI. Min stay 1 week, then negotiable.

WWOOF OFFICE NOTE: WWOOFers wishing to apply for the 2nd year extension to their Visa should contact the WWOOF Office wwoof@wwoof.com.au for a list of Primary Producer Hosts. Hosts need to be a Primary Producer with an ABN to sign the Visa Application form.

Hi Maggie,

My name is Tracey and my partner is Dave, we are on a cattle station north of Carnarvon and we would be happy to have you here. I am currently breaking in my young gelding and would appreciate someone to ride my old mare with me. Also we are looking for an extra hand around the house and garden and there is plenty of opportunity to get out and about on the station. We are hoping to have someone here from anytime now until early March. Our entry is on page 289 of the January 09 edition of the Wwoof book. So if your still looking for somewhere to go we would love to hear from you.
