Hi
Our names are Dennis and Jan and we are new wwoofers. We arrived in Melbourne from Ngunguru, which is a coastal town east of Whangarei in New Zealand in September, bought a caravan and 4WD and have headed West, to complete a working holiday that we started some years ago. Until now, we have been in holiday mode, enjoying the National Parks where possible, but are now keen to do some work, but without all the dramas of CV's, filling out application forms etc.
We are not "spring chickens", but far from our "used by" date. For the last 12 years we operated a landscaping business as well as operating a weekend Bed and Breakfast and fishing charter business so have had a pretty busy time. We are both fit and healthy, willing and able to put our hands to most things, are easy going but with a good work ethic.
We are currently in the vicinity of Mandurah. While we are keen to travel to the North of Western Australia and into the Northern Territory, we would rather do this once the wet season has passed. Ideally we would like to be hosted anywhere within a couple of hours of Perth. If you think that we may be of some help to you, please contact us.
Regards
Dennis and Jan (I09/5701)

Hello, My name is Malcolm and I am host WS049. I live here with my mate Jimmy (a dog/dingo) very close to Hamelin Bay and beside a tall forest National Park.
We are a few minutes from the nearest very, very small town ( basic food, fuel and tavern)..., and about 20 minutes drive south from Margaret River.
This is beautiful and peaceful place here and the fishing is great too.
Accomadation is in a self contained caravan with power and rain water in a peaceful area away from my 'shack'.
I most certainly need a helping hand here...., fruit tree pruning, netting, weeding etc etc. There is also general property maintenance and ongoing building projects to work on as well.
If you want to ask 'any' questions or visit here..., it's best to contact me via my home phone in the early evening.
More information and my contact details can be found in the WWOOF book in the South/West section. Host WS049.
Have a safe journey. Malcolm....., and Jimmy (the dongo).

Thanks for your response Malcolm. We have spent a week or so down in your general area, and know that it is a beautiful part of the country but if possible we dont want to travel back over ground we have already covered. We should have been more specific in our posting with regards to the 2 hours from Perth - would prefer east or north. Cheers Jan and Dennis

Thanks for your repsonse and I apologise for not replying sooner. We have been busy woofing up at Morangup, and as we will be heading North towards the end of February, you are probably a little too far south for us.
Cheers
