We would welcome help around that time.
We are developing a 30 acre tropical and unusual fruit farm (60+ varieties) at Bloomsbury, 40 minutes south of Proserpine and one hour north of Mackay. We have pigs, free range chooks, wild kangaroos, 2 dogs and a few beehives. We are new wwoof hosts and not in the book as yet, our number is QT168 and the WWOOf office will give you our details. We live one hour from the Whitsunday Islands. We are interested in permaculture, self sufficiency, seed saving, & traditional methods of natural food production & preservation.
Work may include, pruning, mulching, honey processing, garden maintenance, household chores, fencing and feeding chooks & pigs. We are a middle aged couple with no children living at home. Separate s/c caravan accommodation is available.
Regards,
Kaye & Nick
