Hello everybody,
My name is Alice; I am 18, from France. I’ve been in Australia, more exactly in Sydney since 2 months. Since a long time I am really kind of the nature, the animals (my parents are both vets), and of the ORGANIC brunch!!!! I try to eat organic every day, sprouts, I am vegetarian but I can sometimes eat fish. I am very creative, sensitive and determined. I love walking, gardening, and cooking, playing, bringing good atmosphere! My grandfather, in France is a fantastic gardener, he has a marvelous garden with many apples trees, he cultivates leeks, beetroots, fennels, celery, zucchinis, carrots, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and many many things, there are peach trees, pears trees. My grandmother is a very good gardener too; she plants lots of beautiful flowers like roses…… Latter I want to become a soft Doctor like a Naturopath, osteopath, homeopath, kinesiology….. Very keen of Peace, relaxing, yoga…… Love cats (I’ve got one cat in France, his name is Filou). I am a little bit scared of horses and big dogs. I want to travel all around the Australia and to be every time in contact with the nature and the farm life. I am looking mostly for short terms like one week or 10 days maybe a few days You can be sure that I will bring with me my smile and all my joy! I love joking; I play the theater since 7 years! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Eat organic healthy, tasty and rather vegetarian is for me very important. Just let me know if it’s possible. I intend to move on the 30th or 31th January 2010, so I am available from these days. I want to start around Melbourne first and then Tasmania, Adelaide….I want to discover each part of Australia always with the nature, fruit picking, and quiet places are welcome!!! If you can help me to improve my English too, I want to become bilingual! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Thanks for your answer. Sincerely. Alice. |

Hello Alice
If you are going to be in Tasmania March/April then maybe you could stay with us for a week or so? You could help in the garden, with the children ( I homeschool 3 children and hope to start teaching my 10 yr old daughter some French this year, maybe you could help each other!), some housework and some native pepper berry picking if they are ready to harvest. We have 3 cats ( one a kitten). I have horses but it is not necessary for you to work with them. I have big dogs but they are yarded. (I also have a very tiny French poodle!) Our farm is surrounded by forest and nature. I am trying to do some yoga each week. My entry is on the last page of the Tas section of the Wwoof book. TN105. Please contact me if interested. Kind regards Lizzy Hello everybody, My name is Alice; I am 18, from France. I’ve been in Australia, more exactly in Sydney since 2 months. Hello Dynamic Alice,
Have a look at my wwoof listing (Prev. NU016 Page 172 of the July 2009 book) Then see that things have changed! This will be my new listing when the new book is out; I am a new WWOOF Host, my contact details will be in the July 2010 WWOOF book. If you have another edition, please call the WWOOF office on 5155-0218 during office hours or e-mail wwoof@wwoof.com.au, quoting your WWOOF membership number and my host number and they will give you my contact details. My entry in the WWOOF book reads as follows:- 4275 QG278 Donny, WITHEREN. “Work is love made visible”… Kahlil Gibran. Exotic, organic gardens and orchards, abounding with native wildlife, provide varied and interesting outdoor work for fun loving, open-minded wwoofers of all ages. In tranquil hinterland 4klm from the picturesque village of Canungra, we are close enough to the coast but far enough away from the hostel hype. Single and sharing house with one mature lady and her dog, Donny is an event manager, builder, writer and musician. Full of energy and passion, he will show you forest walks, mountain swimming holes, local markets and scenic beauty not so often seen. Cultural exchange, creative and healing skills are encouraged. Preference given to those who email early and include a photo… helps with ID. We eat a healthy, mixed, organic diet with minimum processed food. Smoking outside. Transit station nearby. Stay one week, longer if you are having fun. Call or text if you would like to visit. Cheers! Hi Alice,
we have room for a WWOOFER at present if you are coming to WA. WE have just had 2 French girls stay with us over Xmas and it was great. We would be looking for someone to assist with gardening and caring for our chooks (which we breed for sale as pets). We have a private room for our WWOOFERS and our house has aircon & a pool. While we are not vegetarian we are happy to accomodate your needs. Please look at our profile if you are interested REgards Shayley |
