Places in Australia to go WWOOFing

* Go WWOOFing on King Island There are a couple TN WWOOF hosts on King Island who are at either end of Bass Strait, and are quite isolated. You need to take a freight ferry or small plane to Flinders island, and King Island is only accessible by small aircraft.

* Go WWOOFing in the NB & ND Regions The Sapphire Coast, nestled on the South Coast of NSW, is host to an array of tourist and visitor attractions. Special interest in the coastal aspect and historical heritage of the many towns. The Bega Valley is just one of the many locations which supply the area with Dairy, Wine and Cheese products. A large number of working farms and a vast array or horticulture, animal and marine industries. Also check the locations page for information on the towns and attractions in this beautiful area.

* Go WWOOFing in the NF Region The Hawkesbury District is everything a country town has to offer and more, there are plenty of WWOOF Hosts in the area so come and have a look and meet some real Aussies! The Hawkesbury is a convict settlement n/w of Sydney 11/2 hours by train from Sydney Central Rail Station. There are an abundance of bush walking tracks also we have Tebutts Observatory, Mt Tomah Botanical Gardens, Opal Museums and Art Galleries. There are plenty of views to Sydney from the mountain villages of Kurrajong, Bowen Mountain and Kurrajong Heights. The Hawkesbury is the place to buy fresh fruit/vegies and produce from the farm, this is called the Harvest Trail. There are many festivals: Fiddle Festival in March, St Albans Folk Festival, Fine Wine and Food Festival in October. Cricket is played on the oval in the centre of the same park every weekend.
