We have a position for 1-2 people on our property that runs 1,000 sheep for wool and meat. This 500 hectare property is situated 20km south of Ravensthorpe, which is on the south coast between Albany and Esperance.

We need people who are reliable, self-motivated, enthusiastic, physically fit and willing to work unsupervised. You must be able to understand and speak English.

Work duties include looking after the vegetable garden and orchard, fencing, general maintenance, construction, wood cutting and collecting, and sheep work. Ability to drive a manual vehicle is an advantage. We work 5 days a week (Mon-Fri) for 5 to 8 hours per day, depending on what needs to be done.

Minimum stay 2 weeks, longer stays may be negotiated after the first 2 weeks. Accommodation is in a caravan. All food provided. You can create your own meals most of the time and dine with us in our house sometimes. So you need to be able to cook or at least be willing to learn!

People who love the peace and quiet of the bush, native plants and animals, bushwalking and cycling will enjoy it here. Our farm is close to the Fitzgerald River National Park and beautiful beaches are 45km away. We welcome people from other countries. We can collect you from the bus which travels via Ravensthorpe -see http://www.transwa.wa.gov.au for timetables.
