WWOOFer and HOST PROFILES

To see a WWOOFer's profile, click on their user name (WWOOFer number), some WWOOFers will put photos, list their interests and skills in their profile.

WWOOF Hosts can add photos & information about their interests etc to their own profile, by clicking on My Controls at the top of any Bulletin Board page. On the left hand side of the screen there is a Menu. Under the heading Personal Profile you can edit your Personal Profile, signature (which CAN include a web photo AND your contact details), select an avatar (you can upload a thumbnail sized photo from your computer of yourself as your avatar) or upload a personal photo, which could be a photo of your property. This is a great place to tell WWOOFers all about yourself, your property and the type of accommodation you are offering. You can also tell WWOOFers about the types of work you are wanting them to do, the food they can expect and any special things you want to tell them.

There are 2 ways to put a photo on your personal picture and avatar,

*One is to use a photo that is already on a website, to do this, go to that website, right click on the photo you want to use, select Properties, then copy the Address (URL) of the photo, for example http://www.wwoof.com.au/picture_library/wwoofstaff.jpg Paste this into the URL box then click either Update Avatar or Update Photo

*The second is to click browse, then find the picture you want on your own computer and select it. Then click either Update Avatar or Update Photo.

To put a photo in your signature, it must be a photo from a website. Copy and paste the URL (to get the URL of a picture, find the picture you want on a website, right click on it & select properties, then highlight the URL, right click & select copy) into the text box for your signature, then highlight the URL and click the symbol with a tree on it, this will put after the URL and this will activate the web picture.

FEEDBACK

The Bulletin Board has a Feedback Rating System. Hosts can rate WWOOFers and WWOOFers can rate hosts from 1 to 5 Stars. All it takes is to first find the member on the BB, click on their User Name in order to see their Profile (not all WWOOFers use the Bulletin Board, so you will not always be able to rate your WWOOFers). On the left hand side you will then see Rating: Rate Me ***** Hover over the number of Stars and then click when you have highlighted the correct number of stars. You can only rate another member on the Bulletin Board once. The number of stars will average out each time each Host or WWOOF is rated. You cannot rate yourself but you can see in your own Profile how others have rated you.
